The closest hotels are: “Hotel des Arts”, rue Pourtales 3, www.hotel-des-arts.ch , (200 yards from the University), “Hotel Alpes & Lac” (close to the railway station and ten minutes walk from the University or by underground cable car -the best way to climb the slope on the way back from the University), “Touring au Lac” (on the Port, 15 minutes walk from the University), www.touringaulac.ch . Hotel des Arts is a rather small hotel and we therefore recommend you book there without delay. You will get a special price of 125 CHF (about 125 $ or 100 €) per night for single occupancy, including breakfast, by quoting “Mars Society” (in the mail itself). Double occupancy would be 169 CHF. Hotel Touring au Lac offers rooms at 141.50CHF per night (single) with a lake view or 126,50 CHF, without lake view. Double rooms are 161,50 CHF per room, per night (breakfast included). Also quote "Mars Society". Hotel Alpes et Lac offers single rooms at 154 CHF with a Lake view or 127CHF without Lake view. Doubles are 190 CHF or 169 CHF. The advantage of the hotel is the immediate proximity to the railway station (and the lake view!). If you prefer another hotel, you’ll find a wide choice on the www.neuchateltourisme.ch website. Under “accommodation”, you will see all the rooms that are available and you can book on line. After you book your hotel, please advise us which you chose.
